Business aircraft financing, underwritten on the asset

Reissers Capital finances business aircraft for LLCs and corporations, from Bal Harbour, Florida. The aircraft is underwritten first. No FICO minimum and no personal guarantee, subject to supporting documentation and to underwriting approval. A consultation leads to a preliminary term sheet within one hour during business hours, with a soft credit pull only and no upfront fees. Business entities only; never consumer lending.

What Reissers Capital finances

Reissers Capital provides business-purpose financing of business aircraft to entities: limited liability companies and corporations that own or operate the aircraft for their activity. The firm does not lend to individuals, and no program is consumer lending. The facility sits within the firm's range of $50,000 to $50,000,000, and is arranged with capital partners representing more than $600M in aggregate lending capacity.

The purpose of the facility is business, and the borrower is the entity that holds or acquires the aircraft. Reissers Capital reads a file the way an operator reads it: the role of the aircraft in the company's activity, the quality of the asset, and the coherence of the plan around it. Each request is examined on its own terms, and every loan remains subject to underwriting and approval by the firm and its capital partners.

The asset is underwritten first

On aviation programs, the aircraft is underwritten before the borrower. Underwriting begins with the asset: its identity and registration, its condition and value as established by appraisal, and the entity that holds it. This order is deliberate. A well-documented aircraft held by a properly constituted entity gives the file its structure, and the remaining questions are answered from there.

The method suits companies whose strength lies in the assets they own and operate. It does not remove underwriting; it sets its order. The firm and its capital partners review the complete file before any approval. A preliminary term sheet issued after consultation is non-binding, and no document issued before approval is a commitment to lend.

No FICO minimum, no personal guarantee

Aviation programs carry no FICO minimum and no personal guarantee, subject to supporting documentation and to underwriting approval. The file is neither opened nor closed on a consumer score, and it does not rest on the personal assets of the principals: it rests on the aircraft and on the entity. What replaces these elements is documentation, reviewed in full by the firm and its capital partners.

Two qualifications apply and are stated plainly. The documentation must support the structure: registration, appraisal and entity documents, complete and consistent. And approval rests with underwriting, which the firm conducts with its capital partners. At consultation stage the only credit inquiry is a soft pull, which never affects a score. No upfront fees are charged to applicants, at any stage.

What the file needs

An aviation file is built around three sets of documents. The aircraft's registration, which establishes identity and title. An appraisal, which establishes condition and value. And the entity documents of the borrower, which establish its existence, its ownership and its authority to sign. With these in hand, underwriting can begin its review of the asset and of the company behind it.

A complete file is the main factor in the pace of a transaction. Missing or inconsistent documents are the usual reason a file waits. Reissers Capital indicates at consultation what the file needs, so that the entity can assemble it once. Underwriting may request further supporting documentation as the review proceeds; that request is part of the method, not a sign of difficulty.

  • Aircraft registration
  • Appraisal of the aircraft
  • Entity documents of the borrowing LLC or corporation
  • Further supporting documentation as requested by underwriting

Speed and process

The process opens with a consultation, in English, French, Spanish or Arabic. During business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Eastern, the consultation leads to a preliminary term sheet within one hour. That term sheet is preliminary and non-binding: it states the structure the firm would consider, and it is not an approval. The only credit inquiry at this stage is a soft pull, which never affects a score.

From the term sheet, the file moves to underwriting, conducted by the firm with its capital partners. The pace from that point is set by the completeness of the file. No upfront fees are charged to applicants at any stage, and no step before final approval is a commitment to lend. A consultation can be booked online, requested through the site form, or opened by telephone, WhatsApp or email.

Foreign nationals and US entities

Foreign nationals are welcome, through a US entity. The borrower is the entity, constituted in the United States, and the aircraft is underwritten on its own documentation. On asset-based programs, no US credit history is required. The absence of a domestic credit file is therefore not, in itself, an obstacle: the registration, the appraisal and the entity documents carry the file.

Service is provided in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, by a firm whose principal built and exited operating companies across four countries before Reissers. A non-US owner who holds a business aircraft through a US entity is therefore received in one of those four languages, by a firm accustomed to working across borders. Every loan remains subject to underwriting and approval, with the firm's capital partners.

Questions

Questions on aircraft financing

Who can borrow on the aviation program?

Business entities only: limited liability companies and corporations that hold or acquire a business aircraft for their activity. Reissers Capital does not lend to individuals and is not a consumer lender. Foreign nationals are welcome through a US entity. Every request is examined on its own terms and remains subject to underwriting and approval by the firm and its capital partners.

What does no FICO minimum and no personal guarantee mean in practice?

It means the file is underwritten on the aircraft and on the entity, not on a consumer score or on the personal assets of the principals. Both terms apply subject to supporting documentation and to underwriting approval: the registration, the appraisal and the entity documents must support the structure, and the firm and its capital partners must approve the file. Neither term is an approval in itself.

Will the consultation affect my credit score?

No. At consultation stage the only credit inquiry is a soft pull, and a soft pull never affects a score. There are no upfront fees to applicants, at consultation or at any later stage. Within business hours the consultation leads to a preliminary term sheet in one hour; that document is preliminary and non-binding, and the file then proceeds to underwriting.

What documents are required for an aircraft file?

Three sets to begin: the aircraft's registration, an appraisal of the aircraft, and the entity documents of the borrowing LLC or corporation. Underwriting may ask for further supporting documentation as its review proceeds. What the file needs is indicated at consultation, so the entity can assemble it once. A complete and consistent file is the main factor in the pace of the transaction.

Can a foreign national finance a business aircraft?

Yes, through a US entity. The borrower is the entity, and on asset-based programs no US credit history is required: the aircraft's registration, its appraisal and the entity documents carry the file. Consultations are held in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. The loan remains subject to underwriting and approval, with the firm's capital partners, on the same terms as any other file.

Is the preliminary term sheet a commitment to lend?

No. The preliminary term sheet sets out the structure the firm would consider on the information given at consultation. It is preliminary and non-binding. Every loan is subject to underwriting and to approval, which the firm conducts with its capital partners on the complete file. Nothing issued before that approval, on this page or in correspondence, is a commitment to lend.
